Overview

This course is designed to give participants hands on practice on how to perform first aid and CPR when accident happens.

Objectives

  • To perform first aid and CPR procedure.

  • Able to save life by performing basic first aid steps.

  • To comply with the occupational safety and health act 1994.

  • Heart attack and cardiac arrest

  • Performing CPR

  • Care of unconscious victim

  • Automated external defibrillator

  • Airway obstruction

  • Medical shock

  • Bleeding and woods

  • Burns and scald

  • Rescuing and moving victims

  • Heat and cold related emergencies

  • Chemical emergencies

  • Skill assessment

  • Head and spinal injuries

  • Bone, joint , muscle and extremity injuries

  • Simulation drills
